At age 15, Justin competed as Queensland\u2019s youngest A grade rider. He has been competing for over 30 years with his first Queensland title in the mini bike class in 1984. In 1987, Justin won the Queensland Open Junior title at the age of 10. After his winning start, Justin had varying results in Australian junior titles, with highlights including placing 3rd\u00a0\u00a0 in 1989 and his top junior result, 2nd place in 1992.<\/p>\n

Justin progressed quickly and once reaching the Open class, made appearances on the podium a number of times. Throughout his career he has also competed in interstate A grade competitions including New South Wales and Victorian State titles. In 1995, Justin started riding in the sidecar class with his first competitive trial in 1995 in the Australian Titles held at Canungra. Competing with his passenger, Maurice Blanchard, the team narrowly missed out on the title, claiming a second place. In 1996, Justin and Maurice went on to win the title of Australian open sidecar. This was the beginning of an extremely successful career competing in the side car division, claiming 14 titles to date.<\/p>\n

Through out his impressive career, Justin has competed both in the side-\u00ad\u2010car and solo division against the best riders on a national and world stage. At present, he continues to train solo, competing in as many A grade competitions as possible. In addition to his own personal training, Justin has a passion for and is heavily involved in training and mentoring up and coming riders. He works with a range of athletes from juniors right through to the expert class level riders.<\/p>\n

Overall, Justin is a passionate rider and coach, who brings a wealth of experience to his role as head coach and driving force behind the Revolution team. He is an excellent and motivating mentor for the team, having had a long and successful riding career, spanning over 30 years and with 14 national titles and 24 state titles. Justin hopes to continue his solo training, competing in the Masters class in 2015.
