Description
New Montesa Cota 4RT 260R
Note : Bike is arriving Mid February.
The Cota 4RT 260 R is the latest evolution of Montesa’s flagship model. It incorporporates high quality components like for instance 39mm front SHOWA suspension, rear SHOWA Pro-Link damping system, and enlarged aluminum exhaust -from sister model 301RR-. This motorcycle is the logical evolution of the 4RT 260 Montesa, better equipped and easier to ride.
With a new stricking red decoration, it will catch everyone’s attention.
It’s all about quality
The Cota 4RT 260R is carefully manufactured in the Montesa factory based in Spain. Each motorcycle is meticulously assembled and all parts are checked and serviced to ensure the high quality expected from a Montesa and the performance of a championship winning brand.
Front and Rear SHOWA suspension
If you demand a high quality ride, the Cota 4RT 260R is made for you. Its chassis, with specifications that include a front 39mm SHOWA telescopic fork with pre-load, rebound and compression adjustment and rear Pro-Link system with SHOWA shock with spring pre-load/rebound adjustment, and double-beamed aluminium frame, is ready for any test. The edged fuel tank and rear fender, along with bold new graphics make the 260R both a dynamic and elegant motorcycle.
Better combustion, greater practicality
A 4-stroke Honda engine is characterized by the use of only gasoline in the combustion. This provides for less waste emission. It also makes it easier to report any amount of fuel without having to calculate the exact proportion and pre mix oil.
The art of true balance
A breath-taking ascent, with vertical, wet rock walls. Or a twisting descent on moss-covered tree roots. Trial competitions can provide the toughest test for a motorcycle and its rider, and that’s why we created the Montesa Cota 4RT 260R.
PERFORMANCE
- PGM-FI ENGINE
The Honda Montesa Cota 4RT Race Replica features fuel-injected power that’s easy to modulate, for the surgical power delivery so critical to trials riding. The 259cc four-stroke engine is specifically tuned for low-rpm response and extraordinarily flexible, with plenty of power and torque all the way through the rev range. A high-pressure fuel pump helps give the engine a strong power curve.
